Chi sono
My story
My name is Ilenia, I am a yoga teacher and I am excited to share with you my passion for yoga and the path that has brought me here.
My story with yoga began in 2012, by chance, when someone for fun suggested that I take part in some Hatha Yoga lessons, while I had just arrived in Granada for my Erasmus.
From there, it was love at first sight, I had found a space in which moving my body had a different value than what I knew until then, and it also had an incredible power over my mind. I could experience “presence,” being there and now and nowhere else.
Since then I haven't stopped, I've lived in many different places in Europe and abroad, and every time I looked for a yoga shala where I could practice, experiment with many new styles and meet different teachers.
In 2021, someone very dear to me gifted me my first training as a Yoga teacher. He wanted to give me an immense gift for my life before evolving into a new form. Perhaps he foresaw the significance.
I embarked on my first TTC (Teacher Training Course) during a particularly difficult time. I clung to the practice of yoga every day, and it allowed me to advance through a truly dark period without ever falling into the abyss. It was my salvation as I groped through a tunnel with no exit.
Teaching became the natural result of my love for this discipline and my desire to spread its light as a powerful transformative tool for our lives.
Currently, I teach in-person classes in Verona and its province, organize retreats around the world, and offer online lessons and courses
Training
I am a certified and registered teacher with Yoga Alliance, with over 600 hours of training. I completed my training in Hatha Vinyasa, Yin Yoga and Yoga in Pregnancy at the CentrOlistico in Sesto San Giovanni (MI), with Max Gandossi and Silvia Romani.
I also delved into the practice of Rocket Yoga with David Kyle. My classes range from Vinyasa to Yin Yoga to Rocket, offering a mix of solar and lunar energy, which will allow you to explore the depths of your being.
The experiences that I facilitate do not only speak of the physical practice of yoga (yogasana) but are a mix of my knowledge and experiences in the holistic world. Together we can explore the depths of our thoughts and our being, listening to our breath, returning to our true essence.
